Module Description:
Technology changes over time. Steel has been made for thousands of years, but it is not made the way it used to be made. During the first half of the 20th Century, most steel was made by either the Bessemer process or the open-hearth process. In more recent times, the Basic Oxygen Furnace has become the method of choice. The disused structures that housed the Bessemer Converters stood for a while, but evenually were demolished. The structure being demolished here is one of those. Change is inevitable.
